Making art is about taking a piece of reality and organizing it until there is a sense of completion. For a moment you get the feeling that things are as they should be. You’ve created a little order out of a little chaos while working within the confines of your media which has its own vocabulary. You make a mark and it reiterates what you are trying to say. The conversation continues until the image comes into focus.
